How it works

  1. Find someone free right now

    The map only shows artists who are available and taking walk-ins today. Widen the radius if nobody's close.

  2. Tell them what you want

    Your idea, roughly how big, where it goes, and at least one reference image. A budget if you have one.

  3. Hold your spot

    A $5.00 booking fee holds it. Your card isn't charged until the artist accepts. If they pass, or don't answer within 15 minutes, the hold is released.

  4. Head over

    Once they accept you get the address and directions. Tap “I'm here” when you arrive so they know you've made it.

Do I need an appointment for a walk-in tattoo in Vancouver?

Nope. The map only shows artists who are available right now and taking walk-ins today. Pick one, tell them what you want, hold the spot, and head over.

How much does a walk-in tattoo cost?

That's between you and the artist, same as always. Most list a shop minimum on their profile so there are no surprises. Flashbook's $5.00 booking fee just holds your spot. It is not a deposit and it is not part of the tattoo price.

Which parts of Vancouver does Flashbook cover?

Wherever an artist has a chair. Commercial Drive, Mount Pleasant, Main Street, Downtown, Kitsilano, plus Burnaby, New West, North Van and Richmond. Nobody close? Widen the radius.

Are the artists verified?

Yes. Every artist verifies their Instagram before they show up on the map, so nobody can list under someone else's name. Artists with a Blood Borne Pathogens certificate on file get a badge once our team has checked it.

What if nobody is available right now?

Artists flip to available all day long, so check back in an hour. Or tap Get Notified on a greyed-out pin and we will message you the moment that artist's chair opens up.
